Maintenance of CNC cutting machine system

The maintenance of CNC systems is generally clearly defined in the system optimization manual. But the following aspects should be paid attention to in actual operation.

1. The heat dissipation and ventilation system of the CNC cabinet and electrical cabinet should ensure normal operation.

Every day should check whether the cooling fan of each cabinet is working properly and whether the air duct filter is blocked, so as not to cause the temperature in the cabinet to be too high so that the system cannot work reliably.

2. The electrical cabinet should be kept dry and clean.

Open the control cabinet door as little as possible to prevent dust, oil mist, and metal powder in the air of the workshop from falling on the electronic components or printed circuit boards and causing short circuits. For the CNC system that has not been used for a long time, the system should be frequently powered on, and the system should be run empty when the machine tool is locked.

3. The system backup battery should be replaced regularly.

The system parameters and user processing programs are saved by static registers with power-off protection. The contents of the memory after the system is turned on are maintained by the backup battery. Therefore, it is extremely important to check the working status of the battery and replace the battery in time.

4. The brushes of the DC servo motor should be regularly checked and replaced.

Excessive wear of DC motor brushes will affect the performance of the motor and even cause damage to the motor. It is generally checked every three months or half a year, and the surface of the brush is cleaned with industrial alcohol.

5. The paper tape reader should be maintained regularly.

For CNC machine tools with paper tape readers, pay attention to the maintenance of the paper tape readers.
