The use and troubleshooting of automatic ignition of CNC flame cutting machine

The automatic ignition function is not only used on the CNC flame cutting machine, but also applicable to plasma cutting, but at this time it is called differently. It is not called automatic ignition, but it is called an automatic arc starting device. The function is the same as that of automatic ignition, which is also cutting. At this time, turn on the cutting function and prepare for cutting!

Flame auto-ignition plays the role of pre-heating. According to the thickness of the steel plate, the general pre-heating time is different. When re-cutting another discontinuously cut pattern, the auto-ignition will not be turned off, just cutting oxygen and acetylene. Or propane to shut down! Plasma is different. When a pattern is cut, when another pattern is reached, its empty running line is completely free of electric sparks; otherwise, it will damage the parts. When it reaches the next fire point, it will ignite again. , Pierce and cut, and so on, until all the parts are cut and back to the original point!

In many cases, the automatic ignition function is very useful. Generally speaking, CNC cutting machines are equipped, but this is a wearing part and is prone to failure. Everyone should pay attention when using it! When the CNC flame cutting machine cuts parts, it will have a starting point according to the program. This starting point can be set arbitrarily according to the arc line. To facilitate continuous cutting, automatic ignition can be fully achieved, convenient, and can improve work efficiency. There is not much effect, but the main safety function is the solenoid valve and the tempering valve!

The so-called automatic ignition is that the system controls the ignition solenoid valve to turn on the gas, and at the same time, controls the power supply to the ignition system. The spark plug is ignited through the high-voltage circuit to ignite the gas to achieve ignition. The entire ignition process only appears within 1-2 seconds after the "fire test" or "cutting" operation. The fault check must also be carried out at this time.

1. No gas is emitted during ignition.

While operating the "fire test" button, open flames can be used to ignite the ignition point of the igniter to confirm whether there is gas injection during ignition.

If there is no gas injection, you can check the main control board and the solenoid valve indicator according to the gas path fault check and troubleshooting methods. If the indicator lights of the main control board and the solenoid valve are normal, and there is no valve clogging, the small hole of the gas nozzle on the igniter may be clogged. The way to confirm the diagnosis is to loosen the nut under the adjusting knob on the igniter and place the knob in the water to see if there is gas ejection during ignition. If there is gas and there is no gas in the igniter's fire, it must be the gas nozzle is blocked. The gas nozzle hole is very small, Ф0.4mm. The treatment method uses a waste hand to use a steel saw blade to grind a small, slender tip, and then use it to clear the small hole.

2. The spark plug does not ignite during ignition.

When igniting, there should be a clear discharge spark between the spark plug and the igniter body, which can be clearly seen, and the sound of a clear spark discharge can also be heard.

If the spark plug does not ignite, check whether the main control board's ignition indicator is lit for 1-2 seconds when the "fire test" key is operated to confirm whether the main control board's ignition control is correct.

Whether there is carbon collection on the spark plug will also cause the spark plug not to ignite, which needs to be removed.

Secondly, check the high voltage package connected with the spark plug, and their interconnection and connection plug.

DC3V (two ordinary batteries) voltage is applied to the input terminal of the high-voltage package. Spark discharge should be generated between the two output lines of the high-voltage package (the distance between the two lines is 2-10mm); otherwise, the high-voltage package will be damaged.

3. There is gas during ignition, and the spark plug also ignites, but it still cannot ignite.

The main reason for this phenomenon is that the gas concentration is too high. Gas concentration is not suitable. It often fails to ignite normally, especially when using a gas such as coal gas and propane. It needs to be solved by adjusting the "adjustment knob" and changing the gas concentration.
